Women's Symposium

A pre-conference women’s symposium on “Networking and Collaboration” will be held on Sunday August 4th from 1-4pm. The keynote speaker will be Professor Adele Diederich of Jacobs University and a member of the academic network (AcademiaNet). We welcome all who are interested in this topic (not just women) to attend.

The purpose of the meeting is to promote the involvement of women in the field of mathematical psychology, and to highlight the contributions of women in mathematical psychology in order to inspire other women to pursue a career in the field.

In addition to the keynote speaker, there will be a panel discussion of relevant topics, as well as active networking activities. Panelists will include Laurie Feldman, Birte Forstmann, Michael Lee and Amy Criss. If you have specific topic suggestions, please send them to the symposium organizers: Pernille Hemmer, Jennifer Trueblood and Annemarie Zand Scholten.
