The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

Tenure-track assistant/associate in psychology

The Department of Psychology at Michigan State University seeks to hire a full-time tenure-system faculty member at the assistant or associate professor level in the area of cognition and cognitive neuroscience. We will consider candidates in any area of cognition and cognitive neuroscience, but are particularly interested in researchers studying high-level cognition, such as problem solving, executive control, judgment and decision making, learning and memory, or attention.

Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Quantitative Methodology

The Department of Psychology at Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning in July, 2016.  We are seeking applicants with strong quantitative skills and training, and a research program that applies those skills in an area that complements the strengths of the Department, including but not limited to the areas of self-regulation, the science of well-being, and self and identity.
