The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

46th Annual Meeting of the Society for Mathematical Psychology

The 46th Annual Meeting of the Society for Mathematical Psychology (SMP) will take place in Potsdam, Germany, from August 4th to August 7th. The conference will directly follow the annual conference of the Cognitive Science Society. The conference will be held at the University of Potsdam, conveniently located a short distance (40 minutes by train) from Berlin-City.

51st Edwards Bayesian Research Conference

February 14-16, 2013
CSU Fullerton, California

Presentations at this conference may come from any area related to judgment and decision making and are NOT limited to Bayes theorem or Bayesian statistics.  This is the 51st Annual meeting, and it will honor the memories of Ward Edwards and R. Duncan Luce, two of the founding scientists of the field of behavioral decision making.

Submissions are due by January 10; Acceptances will be sent by January 15.
