The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

Postdoctoral Fellow in Cognitive Modeling

The Laboratory for Mathematical Psychology at Indiana University seeks a postdoctoral researcher in cognitive modeling and experimental psychology. The primary purpose of the position is to assisting Dr. James T. Townsend with research outlined in one of two research grants. Duties also include overseeing graduate students, undergraduate RAs, and technical assistants; planning and carrying out experiments; data analysis; model testing; and preparing manuscripts for publication.

The Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position.
