The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

51st Edwards Bayesian Research Conference

February 14-16, 2013
CSU Fullerton, California

Presentations at this conference may come from any area related to judgment and decision making and are NOT limited to Bayes theorem or Bayesian statistics.  This is the 51st Annual meeting, and it will honor the memories of Ward Edwards and R. Duncan Luce, two of the founding scientists of the field of behavioral decision making.

Submissions are due by January 10; Acceptances will be sent by January 15.

Tenure Tracks at the Donders Institute

The Donders Centre for Cognition (DCC), part of the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions. We are looking for promising candidates, preferably at the assistant professor level. As Principal Investigators (PIs) they will be given the opportunity to set up their own independent research groups. Accomplished scientists (PIs) at the associate professor level with strong records of research productivity, grant support and a demonstrable team spirit are also encouraged to apply. Your research should be in line with one of the following four research themes of the Donders Institute:

Language and Communication; Perception, Action and Control; Plasticity and Memory; Brain Networks and Neuronal Communication.
