The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

The Psychology Department at the University of Kansas has a position for a Visiting Assistant Professor (2 years; with a possibility of renewal for a 3rd). A successful candidate will be able to teach courses in advanced quantitative and computational method and have a research record in the development and use of quantitative/computational methods in psychology. The collegial faculty of the Psychology Department work in and among three graduate programs including the Brain, Behavior, and Quantitative Science Program, the Clinical Science Program, and the Social Psychology Program. The university is located in Lawrence, Kansas, a vibrant and progressive college town located a short drive from metropolitan Kansas City. Please see this link for more information:
