The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.


The 45th Annual Meeting of the Society for Mathematical Psychology will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, Ohio from July 21-24, 2012.  We will also have a preconference symposium for women in mathematical psychology in the afternoon on Saturday, July 21.  The conference welcome reception will be held on the evening of July 21, and the conference itself will run from July 22 to July 24.

The organizing committee welcomes the submission of abstracts beginning Monday January 30 and ending Monday, April 16.  In particular, if you would like to organize a symposium, please contact the committee chair, Simon Dennis ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
