Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Max Planck Institute for Human Development is seeking a PhD student with excellent programming skills to conduct research on collective behaviours.
The work will include the development of online, multi-users experiments and the use of computational simulations. The goal of the project is to understand how behaviours, judgments, and emotions spread in social networks.
The Max Planck Institute offers excellent research infrastructures, and Berlin is an amazing place. The working language is English.
