Test Development Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Center for Autism Research at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is looking to hire a postdoc to help with an IQ test development project. We are seeking candidates with expertise in item response theory and computer adaptive testing to develop new tests for assessing cognitive and other skills for application in large samples of children and adults. Resources are available for national norming and quick application to large populations with autism and other psychiatric disorders. A cognitive ability test development project is ongoing and needs support. New projects are to be developed by the candidate. The successful applicant would work with a small team to develop and validate a measure with broad applications in research of families with autism and other neuropsychological disorders. This position can be guaranteed for 1 or 2 years depending on preferences of applicant. Start date is flexible, with preference to candidates who can start sooner. Very competitive salary. The position is located in Philadelphia, PA at the Center for Autism Research within the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania.
