Symposium @ MathPsych/ICCM 2026 IN-PERSON
Symposia are blocks of talks, panel discussion, and/or other activities on a relatively narrow topic. Symposium summary submissions should be a maximum of 1 page, including a symposium title, a 250 word abstract of the symposium overall. The organizer(s) may already have some speakers in mind, and they can be listed on the proposal submission, but the selected topics will be published on the website prior to the submission deadline and authors can submit abstracts to be considered for inclusion as well. As symposium organizer(s), you will be asked to select which of the submitted abstracts you would like to include. The organizer should submit a summary of the symposium separately. Each talk within a symposium should submit their talks individually.
Hybrid Symposium There is the possibility of supporting some virtual participation, please indicate if this is desired. Please note that there are a limited number of hybrid slots available. For a hybrid symposium, the organizer who submits the proposal must commit to being present and in-person for the meeting.
Talk in a Symposium Symposium talks should be submitted individually by the lead author of each talk (“Talk in a Symposium @ MathPsych/ICCM 2026") and should include a title and abstract of no more than 250 words. When you submit the abstract, please indicate in the “Optional Comment” field the proposed symposium title to which the talk belongs.
Symposia topics may be submitted to either MathPsych or ICCM. MathPsych Symposia will be reviewed by the MathPsych conference committee and ICCM Symposia will be reviewed by the ICCM conference committee. Symposium talk submissions that are not accepted as part of a symposium will be reviewed for regular MathPsych or ICCM presentations.
